Jubilee events in honor of the 150th anniversary of the birth of the French writer: a ceremonial meeting in the Column Hall of the House of Unions (among the speakers - I.O. Mosashvili), a scientific session at the Institute of World Literature, a reader's conference in one of the Moscow Region collective farms, scenes from the play " Les Miserables "at the Moscow Theater. K. Stanislavsky and V. Nemirovich-Danchenko; the study of the works of V. Hugo in schools and institutes, in libraries; an exhibition of works by V. Hugo in Moscow; preparation for the publication of books by V. Hugo.
