2nd Ukrainian Front, Romania, 1944. The village of Iposhtet. View of the church, built in 1939 in memory of the national poet of the 19th century Mihai Eminescu. Eminescu House Museum. Soviet soldiers and local residents go to the house-museum. People look at the cartoons of Hitler painted on the wall of the house. In one of the Romanian towns, Soviet tankmen hand out tobacco to the Romanians who have surrounded them. City market. Women sell vegetables. Locals roam the market.
