40th Anniversary of the GITIS Ballet Department

Gala evening at the Moscow Academic Musical Theater named after K. Stanislavsky and V. I. Nemirovich-Danchenko, dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the choreographer faculty of the State Institute of Theater Arts (GITIS). People's Artist of the USSR, ballet soloist V.V. Vasiliev leads the evening, presents the students of GITIS. GITIS students dance dances: "Chardash", "Mozambique", "Ivanushka", "Kazachok", "Pavanna". People's Artist of the USSR M. Lavrovsky and the ballet soloist of the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theater named after Z. Paliashvili perform a dance fragment from D. Gershwin's opera Porgy and Bess. Participants of the concert after its completion on the stage, among them: People's Artists of the USSR E. Maksimova, R. Struchkova, teacher of GITIS TS Tkachenko, Dean of GITIS E. Valukin and others.
