Abstract
The film is based on the poetic polemics of A.S. Pushkin and Metropolitan Filaret of Moscow, which began with the poem "A vain gift, an accidental gift" written by Pushkin. The film includes the following filming: general view of the monument to A.S. Pushkin, churches; the priest comes out of the altar, the believer in the temple lights up a candle; General view of the snow-covered forest, the house-museum of A.S. Pushkin in Mikhailovsky; the interior of A.S. Pushkin. The film uses drawings, manuscripts by A.S. Pushkin.
