The film tells about the veteran of the war in Afghanistan Jahangir Abduvaliev, who lost his sight as a result of being wounded in the battle near Maziri Sharif, and his wife Adolat, whose name means "justice" in Russian. Adolat Abduvalieva reads a letter, cooks food on the stove. The Abduvalievs are working in the garden, digging the ground; their son Bakhtiyor plants a tree, plays with a dog in the yard.
