The newsreel includes the following plots: Part 1, Plot 1. Irrigated pasture reserves. The plot tells about the creation and proper operation of long-term cultivated irrigated pastures in the "Lvovskiy" state farm, Borisoslavsky district, Kherson region of Ukraine. The plot uses the following cinematography: a herd of cows in a pasture, in a corral, in a barn; sowing meadow grasses in one of the sections of the corral, free from grazing; clover and alfalfa in the field; the harvester removes herbs; work of a hay collector and a stacker; milking cows on the farm. 2-nd plot. Tomato field today. The plot tells about new varieties of tomatoes created by Moldovan breeders and the cultivation of this crop according to industrial technology developed in the Scientific and Production Association "Dniester". The plot included the following filming: checking tomatoes for meatiness, sugar content, resistance to mechanical stress in one of the laboratories; panorama of different varieties of tomatoes; breeders on experimental plots of the Dniester scientific and production association; soil cultivation for sowing tomatoes with a combined combine; type of tomato bushes; processing tomatoes with a special stimulant preparation; harvesting tomatoes with a tomato harvester; sorting tomatoes; cans with tomatoes on the conveyor line of the cannery. 2 part 1-st plot. Fertility workshop. The plot tells how at the poultry farm named after the 50th anniversary of the USSR in the Tutaevsky district of the Yaroslavl region a workshop was created for the disposal of poultry droppings and the preparation of peat composts. The use of this fertilizer has significantly increased fertility. The plot uses the following filming: general view of industrial buildings on the territory of the Tutaevskaya poultry farm; chickens in the poultry house, pecking food; loading of railway cars of the regional association "Agropromkhimiya" with peat; movement of the composition with peat; general view of the landfill, where peat is unloaded, leveled, phosphorite flour is added, mixed with chicken dung; type of finished compost; checking the quality of compost in an agrochemical laboratory; dump truck body loading with compost; applying compost to the fields of the "Volga region" collective farm; type of beet field, fields of rye, wheat, oats and corn on the farm. 2nd plot. The youth of a collective farm village. The plot tells about social and everyday transformations in the advanced collective farm "Memory of Ilyich" in the Brest region of Belarus. The development of housing construction, improvement of the central estate, improvement of cultural and consumer services for the population are shown. The plot includes the following filming: general view of the central estate on the collective farm "Memory of Ilyich"; view of the building of the collective farm board; meeting of the collective farm board headed by the chairman A.S. Skakun; engineers and architects of the design bureau for the design of typical versions of rural houses; panorama of the village with new houses, incl. and 2-storey; view of the building of the new school; children play on the playground of the new kindergarten, swim in the pool under the guidance of an instructor; panorama of the new buildings of the kindergarten, cafe "Niva"; cafe interior; cooking in the cafe kitchen; visitors dine in a cafe; collective farm machine operators have lunch in the field camp; corn harvester working in the field; classes for collective farm youth in an equestrian school: riders on horseback overcome obstacles; an elegantly decorated troika with newlyweds drives along a rural street, the chairman congratulates the newlyweds; guests and newlyweds sit at the festive table; giving gifts to newlyweds.
