Abstract
Development of an oil field in the Karakum desert. Tractors are carrying equipment, pipes, towers. Oil rigs; the rocking chair works. Nebit-Dag city, houses, green spaces, buses on the streets (Turkmenistan). The plot is dedicated to the Russian traveler N. N. Miklouho-Maclay, who lived among the Papuans in New Guinea for many years. Drawings, diary, scientific works, letter (to Prince Meshchersky) Miklouho-Maclay. Exhibits of the Leningrad Museum of Ethnography, brought by N. N. Miklukho-Maclay from New Guinea. Modern New Guinea Village; Papuans at their huts. Coast of New Guinea named after Miklouho-Maclay. Peru's Chincha Islands, home to millions of birds. The most valuable fertilizer is collected from the islands - guano (bird droppings). A lot of birds in the air, on the ground. Workers shovel guano into sacks and load them into a car. There are barges near the shore. Winches load bags onto barges. Caucasus. Baksan gorge. The cable car takes skiers up. Descent of skiers from the slope of Mount Cheget.
