Meeting at the Leningrad station of the American troupe "Euryman Opera", who came to Moscow on tour. Acquaintance of guests with the sights of Moscow: visiting the Tretyakov Gallery, viewing the Moscow Kremlin. American artists at the New Year tree in the Grand Kremlin Palace, at Sergei Prokofiev's ballet "Romeo and Juliet" at the Bolshoi Theater of the USSR. Musical drama by composer D. Gershwin "Porgy and Bess" performed by artists of the "Euryman Opera" on the stage of the Musical Theater named after KS Stanislavsky and V. I. Nemirovich-Danchenko. American artists buy gramophone records, jewelry. Artists E. Jackson and E. Thigpen register their marriage in the registry office of the Frunzensky district of Moscow. Wedding of newlyweds in the Moscow Church of Evangelical Christians-Baptists. Reception in honor of American artists, hosted by the Minister of Culture of the USSR N. A. Mikhailov. Present: S. V. Kaftanov, O. V. Lepeshinskaya, G. V. Aleksandrov and others.
