Abstract
North Caucasian Front, Kuban, Neberdzhaevskaya village, late May-June 1943. General view of one of the sectors of the 3rd Rifle Corps of the 56th Army, where artillery pieces are camouflaged. 76-mm guns are firing at the enemy during artillery barrage. Wounded soldiers. One of the soldiers, wounded in the leg, rolls a cigarette to his comrade, wounded in the arm. Delivery of shells through the mountain-wooded area to the front line: the soldiers are carrying artillery shells and ammunition boxes (the weight of the load is 35-40 kilograms for each), making their way through the thickets, crossing the stream along the bridge of logs, going uphill. Two soldiers are lying down drinking water from a stream. Horses are being carried through the wooded area on drags of seriously wounded soldiers.
