Anniversary of Leonid Utesov

Honoring People's Artist of the USSR L.O. Utesov in connection with his 70th birthday at the Moscow Variety Theater. Minister of Culture of the USSR E. A. Furtseva read out the decree on awarding L. O. Utesov the title of People's Artist of the USSR, greets and congratulates the hero of the day. Congratulations to L.O. Utesov: I. Yuryev, I. Yaunzem, writers L. Oshanin, L. Kassil, artists of the Leningrad Theater of Miniatures headed by A. Raikin, film director G.V. Aleksandrov, artist M.I. Zharov, artists circus O. Popov and V. Filatov; artists of the Bolshoi Theater of the USSR perform with a theatrical greeting; artists of the Moscow theater "Romen". L. O. Utesov speaks in response (synchronously).
