Abstract
The film is dedicated to the 400-year history of the city of Arkhangelsk. Part 1 of Arkhangelsk. Lenin Square. View of the city from the sea; to Arkhangelsk Gostiny Dvory. Cars are passing over the bridge. A tram is passing along the street; bus number 54. A female tram driver announces the next stop "Marine River Station" (sync.). Construction of a new area of the city: a crane moves bricks; builders are installing a flight of stairs; girl crane operator in the cabin of a construction crane. Conductor Vladimir Alexandrovich Maksimkov directs the Arkhangelsk choir. The choir chapel performs a musical piece of spiritual content (sinhr.). The musicians are walking down the street; play different musical instruments. The pop ensemble performs a musical composition, with a saxophonist in the foreground. Seaport: ships, barges, boats; loading and unloading operations in the port.
