- A plane lands at the Leningrad airport. The polar explorers, who arrived from the drifting scientific station "North Pole-5" ("SP-5"), are getting out of the plane and greet those who meet them. Speaker is the Hero of the Soviet Union, polar pilot IP Mazuruk, whose plane brought polar explorers to Leningrad. Pioneers present flowers to polar explorers. Director of the Arctic Research Institute V. V. Frolov speaking.
