Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Birth of the Great Armenian Poet Hovhannes Tumanyan

The ceremonial meeting at the Yerevan Opera House named after Spendiarov, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of O. Tumanyan. First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Armenia A. E. Kochinyan opens the meeting. At the podium: I. Kh. Baghramyan, A. I. Mikoyan, M. S. Shaginyan. Pioneers present flowers to members of the presidium. Speakers: 1st Secretary of the Board of the Writers' Union of Armenia E. Topchyan, A. A. Surnov, L. S. Sobolev, O. Gonchar. The participants of the meeting are walking along the street of the village where O. Tumanyan lived, drinking cognac at the tables arranged along the street. Opening of the poet's house-museum. Inspection of exhibits.
