- Solemn plenum of the All-Union Central Council of Trade Unions in the Column Hall of the House of Unions, dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Soviet trade unions. Speakers: V. Grishin, General Secretary of the World Federation of Trade Unions L. Sayyan, Secretary of the General Confederation of Labor of France G. Monmousseau and others. Sports festival and festivities at the Central Lenin Stadium. Physical culture parade. Athletes perform gymnastic exercises. A festive concert of amateur art groups. The participants of the concert perform dances: "Moldavanska", "Waltz of Youth".
