France. - French soldiers hold pigeons in their hands, feed them. The officer ties a paper report to the pigeon and releases it into flight. Pigeons bathe in a bowl. The soldier teaches the children. Children dance around the soldiers. French soldiers are holding a balloon by the slings. The balloon with the observer rises up (in addition to the rope, the balloon is connected to the ground by a telephone cable). The observer, sitting in the basket of the balloon, makes marks on the map. Rewarding regimental banners with insignia (the general attaches awards to the banners). Awarding a soldier of the 60th Infantry Regiment of Gurves with the Order of the Legion of Honor. Troops are moving along the streets of the liberated city, an orchestra is playing.
