4th Ukrainian Front. Czechoslovakia. The city of Bardev. January 20, 1945. 1 plot. The commander of a company of submachine gunners, captain Stanko in a snow-covered trench above the map. Submachine gunners are walking along a forest belt, across a snow field; approach the city under the cover of a smoke screen. Soviet infantrymen are on the streets of the city. 2 plot. Funeral of Lieutenant Niedla. The soldiers carry the coffin to the cemetery, lower it into the grave. Captain Yaroslav Prokhazka delivers a funeral speech (various plans). Colonel Talski reads out the order in front of the formation of the infantry unit of the Czechoslovak corps.
