Construction Industry - 87

The film tells about the latest achievements of the industry in the production of building materials, about the exhibits presented at the international industrial exhibition "Stroyindustriya-87". The film includes the following filming: a general view of the pavilions of the "Construction Industry-87" exhibition in Sokolniki, the speech of the Chairman of the USSR State Construction Committee Batalin (sync.) At the opening of the exhibition, visitors inspect the exhibits of the exhibition: plumbing equipment, tile samples, heating equipment, a general view of the operating models according to production of bricks, production of building and facing slabs, production of crushed stone and sheet glass among the exhibits, general view of wood products and models of residential buildings; the exposition of foreign countries, including the CMEA member countries, at the Expocentre on Krasnaya Presnya: visitors examine the exhibits presented by Poland, Czechoslovakia, the German Democratic Republic, Austria, the Federal Republic of Germany, demonstration of construction equipment and other machines at the exhibition; the construction of one of the hydroelectric power plants, the construction of a new microdistrict in one of the cities of the Soviet Union.
