The movie tells about the Olympic champion in weightlifting from the city of Dimitrovgrad Yuri Zakharevich and his coach Viktor Pavlovich Naumenkov. In the 1st part, the following filming was used: City of Dimitrovgrad, Ulyanovsk region. View of streets, high-rise buildings and a passing Zhiguli car. Athletes are engaged in weightlifting in the hall under the guidance of the honored coach of the USSR V.P. Naumenkov. In the second part, the following filming was used: V.P. Naumenkov talks about the beginning of the career of a weightlifter, Olympic champion Yuri Zakharevich, about joint work and achievements, about conflicts and the subsequent break (sync., Behind the scenes).
