The newsreel has four plots. 1st plot. Gorky region, Bogorodsky district Sowing grain crops on the Iskra collective farm: tractors with seeders are working in the field; machine operators unload bags of grain from a truck body, pour grain into a seeder. The chief agronomist of the Iskra collective farm, Valery Maksimovich Boldaevsky, talks with machine operators and pilots of agricultural aviation. The pilots are studying the map of the area. An AN-2 plane flies over the field, scattering mineral fertilizers. 2nd plot. The city of Kuibyshev. Professor of the Kuibyshev Medical Institute, Head of the Department of General Surgery, Alexander Vasilyevich Barsky, gives a lecture in the audience (sinhr.), Examines patients in a hospital ward and operates on a patient in the presence of a group of students. A.V. Barsky and his wife at home watching photographs and gramophone records and walking along the Volga embankment. 3rd plot. The city of Ulyanovsk. View of one of the streets. City clock. The guards put a drunk man in a police car. Druzhinniki and a policeman are walking through the park. 4th plot. The city of Togliatti. Theatrical show - "Avtorodeo" at one of the city's stadiums. Motorists from the city of Togliatti, from the Volga Automobile Plant, perform stunts on Zhiguli cars. Spectators applaud in the stands.
