The newsreel includes plots: the 1st plot "Veteran Korotkov" is dedicated to the veteran of the Great Patriotic War Lev Aleksandrovich Korotkov from the city of Orenburg. Celebrating Victory Day in the city of Orenburg, veterans are walking along the city square, a brass band is playing, pioneers are standing at the Eternal Flame; war veteran Lev Aleksandrovich Korotkov works in his personal plot, rests on a bench near his house, participates in a demonstration in honor of Victory Day. The second plot “The Executive Committee makes a decision” is devoted to the work of the Gorky Executive Committee. A view of a passing trolleybus, a view of the houses of the new microdistrict Verkhniye Pechery and the old part of the city of Gorky; employees of the executive committee with the chairman, Alexander Alekseevich Serikov, near the old house, work on a subbotnik, sit in the presidium of the district council; correspondents of the newspaper "Gorkovsky Rabochy" make notes during a meeting of the presidium; young people play basketball on a sports ground in one of the microdistricts of the city of Gorky. The third plot "The Artist Pashko" is dedicated to the design engineer from the city of Togliatti Vladislav Ivanovich Pashko.
