Abstract
The plot of the newsreel tells how the Gorky public opposes the construction of a metro station in the city center. The plot includes the following filming: General views of the square named after I. Gorky, the monument to M. Gorky, the public garden, the building of the Rukavishnikov estate on the Verkhnevolzhskaya embankment. People walk along the streets of the city, stand at a public transport stop. The movement of cars on the streets. General view of the construction site in the city center, where one of the metro stations is being built. Residents of the city in the park on Gorky Square collect signatures against the construction of a metro station in the historical part of Gorky, exchange views on this issue, give interviews (sinhr.). Students work in the park.
