The newsreel includes plots: 1-st plot "Summer of a poor student" tells about the summer studies of underachieving schoolchildren in the Gorky secondary school. The plot uses the following filming: the view of people sunbathing on the city beach, people are resting in the park. View of one of the classes of secondary school No. 3 in the city of Gorky, the teacher of Russian language and literature Lyudmila Viktorovna Ageeva deals with lagging children, checks notebooks, talks about the need for summer classes with underperforming schoolchildren (sinhr.). The second story "Victor Barinov" is dedicated to the inspector of the Kuibyshevsky Rybnadzor Viktor Georgievich Barinov. The following filming was used in the plot: the guys from the "Blue Patrol" detachment, accompanied by the senior district inspector of the Kuibyshevsky Rybnadzor V.G. Barinov, walk along the banks of the Volga River. VG Barinov detains poachers with a large catch of fish, draws up a protocol, confiscates fish, participates in night patrols on the Volga River. The third plot "Cooperative cafe" tells about three cooperative cafes in the city of Ulyanovsk. The plot uses the following filming: a panorama of vegetables at the city market. The chairman of the cooperative cafe "Golden Cockerel" Maria Petrovna Kubrakova selects and buys vegetables, sorts them in one of the premises of the cafe. View of the hall of the cooperative cafe "Zolotoy Petushok": employees serve the tables, the chef prepares dishes of Russian cuisine. Tatar cuisine in the cooperative cafe "Druzhba" is placed on the tables; the owner of the cafe Raisa Kalyamovna Mullakaeva pours the soup into plates. Givi Sergeevich Abisadze serves a table in a cooperative cafe of Georgian dishes.
