A film about the leading cyclists of the USSR in the early 1970s. Part 1 Small cinema. A working movie projector shines through the window of the cinema room. A film about cycling is watched by the 1970 world champion and the XX Olympic Games champion Boris Shukhov, the silver medalist of the 1970 USSR championship Valery Trifonov, multiple winner of international and all-Union cycling races Alexander Gusyatnikov, honored coach of the RSFSR, coach of the Soviet army national team and the team of Kuibyshev Vladimir Petrov ... Racers talk about their sports careers (synchronously), the coach talks about them (synchronously). Sports journalist Stanislav Tokarev sits at his desk and talks about cycling and cyclists, examines the advantages and disadvantages of each (synchronously). Cycling on a mountain road. Riding racers and accompanying cars and motorcycles. A team member jumps out of the car on the move, takes out the bike and helps the rider get on it. One of the cyclists falls, the doctors help him.
