Abstract
The film was made by order of the Central Council of the Union of Osoaviakhim of the USSR, and is dedicated to the equipment and use of protective rooms, which were used as a shelter from toxic substances and chemical weapons. In the room intended for the protective room, the craftsmen make repairs, carefully sealing up the cracks and frames. The family is drinking tea over a samovar, the father is reading the Pravda newspaper. The grandmother washes the dishes, the children play. An announcement of a "threatened" situation sounds on the radio. Father, mother, schoolchildren take bags with gas masks and leave the house. Siren beeps. Sick, elderly and young residents of the house are placed by the Osoaviakhim activists in a protective room.
