All members of the ensemble work as metallurgists at the Dneprodzerzhinsk plant. Soloists: Mikhail Nesterenko - henchman of the blast-furnace shop, Komsomol member Vyacheslav Gavrilenko manages oxygen blast in the open-hearth shop, Komsomol members Igor Skorodilov and Galina Shevchenko work on lathes, Alexei Matveev - assistant blower driver in the converter shop Nikolay Komsomov - constructor. Ukrainian wedding dance staged by K.E. Vasilenko on an impromptu stage in the workshop of the plant is performed by amateur artists. Spectators in work clothes applaud the metallurgical dancers.
