Moscow region, Zvezdny gorodok, March 9, 1976 Residential buildings of Zvezdny gorodok; a monument to the first pilot-cosmonaut Yuri Alekseevich Gagarin (sc. B. Dyuzhev, architect A. Zavrazin, mouth in 1971); the building of the Cosmonaut Training Center. Soviet cosmonauts meet members of the GDR delegation headed by the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the SED, Chairman of the State Council of the GDR Erich Honecker on the territory of Star City. Among those present: pilot-cosmonaut of the USSR, twice Hero of the Soviet Union, Lieutenant General of Aviation Georgy Timofeevich Beregovoy, pilot-cosmonaut, twice Hero of the Soviet Union, Major General of Aviation Alexei Arkhipovich Leonov, pilot-cosmonaut, Hero of the Soviet Union Herman Stepanovich Titov, pilot -cosmonaut, twice Hero of the Soviet Union Vladimir Alexandrovich Shatalov, cosmonaut, twice Hero of the Soviet Union Pyotr Ilyich Klimchuk and others. Members of the GDR delegation and Soviet cosmonauts visiting the exposition of the Star City Cosmonautics Museum; the excursion is conducted by the pilot-cosmonaut, Hero of the Soviet Union Igor Petrovich Volk. Museum exhibits; stands dedicated to Yu.A. Gagarin, XXV Congress of the CPSU. E. Honecker and one of the leaders of the SED, Willy Stohoff, make entries in the book of honorary guests of the museum. Members of the GDR delegation headed by E. Honecker and Soviet cosmonauts lay flowers at the monument to Yu.A. Gagarin; are photographed at the monument. Among those present: V. Shtof, G.T. Beregovoi, L.S. Demin, P.I. Klimchuk, A.A. Leonov, V.A. Shatalov and others.
