The film tells about the Soviet-Mongolian space flight of pilots-cosmonauts VA Dzhanibekov (USSR) and Zh.Gurragchi (Mongolian People's Republic) on board the Soyuz-39 spacecraft and the Salyut-6 orbital station (March 1981).
