Entrepreneurs

The film tells about the birth of private entrepreneurship in the years of perestroika, drawing a parallel with the NEP period. Sellers at the fair talk about their activities, about the difficulties they face in the production of goods, about the prospects for individual activities in our country (sync.). Buyers talk about their attitude to private entrepreneurship, complain about high prices, and are outraged by the growth in the welfare of entrepreneurs (sync.). Sellers offer their goods to buyers. The film uses footage of newsreels from the 1920s: trade in the market, hawkers on the street, a fair, Moscow streets, restaurants, shops, demonstration of working people with "Nepmen".
