The newsreel has seven plots. First part 1. The plot is about a pygmy hippopotamus born in the Kaliningrad Zoo. A pygmy hippopotamus plays with a ball in the pool. A zoo employee leads a hippopotamus down the hallway. A laboratory assistant measures the body length of a hippopotamus. The hippopotamus is eating food from a bowl. The laboratory assistant strokes the hippopotamus. 2. The plot introduces a laboratory in which artificial lighting architects check the illumination of future buildings at different times of the day. View of the domed laboratory building. Interior view of the laboratory, in which the walls and ceiling are equipped with electrical appliances. Architects rearrange building layouts on the site in the central part of the laboratory. The plot is about a predator from the order of arachnids - phalanxes (solpugi). The phalanx runs through the sand. The phalanx eats an insect. The snake is crawling on the sand. 4.
