The film tells about the possibilities of the All-Union Association "Exportles" for the export of timber products from Siberia to Japan. The use of the Siberian forest in various fields of economic activity. Filming was carried out in the port of Nakhodka, Vyazemsky, Mukhensky and Sredne-Amgunsky timber industry enterprises of the Khabarovsk Territory, in Japanese ports: Toyama, Ningata, Shimizu, cities: Tokyo, Kyoto, Kosugi, Maizuru; production processes at Japanese wood processing enterprises.
