Ferryman

Part 1. The movement of trucks on the night highway. Servicemen in the back of a military truck are carrying a coffin with the body of their colleague. The ferry arrives at the pier. The ferryman supervises the loading of cars on the ferry. The soldiers unload the coffin from the car, load it onto a horse cart. The carriage arrives at the ferry. Gypsies are sitting on a bench on the pier. The woman is selling pies. Ferry movement along the Volga. The dog floats behind the ferry. A lifeboat is lowered after the dog. Dog with puppies in a basket. Part 2. The ferry arrives at the pier. The carriage with the coffin leaves the ferry. Passengers are disembarking. Bridge over the Volga in the rays of sunset. The ferry crew is repairing the engine. An ambulance, with a pregnant woman in the cabin, calls into the ferry. The ferry departs from the pier.
