Abstract
A film about a Soviet naval officer, captain of the third rank Valery Sablina, who on November 8, 1975 tried to hijack a large anti-submarine ship "Sentinel" of the Baltic Fleet to Sweden. Sincerely believing in the ideals of communism, V. Sablin tried to find an opportunity to criticize the political and economic situation in the USSR. With the help of aviation, the attempted hijacking was suppressed. Sablin was arrested and shot. The direct participants of those events take part in the film: the former midshipman of the ship "Sentinel" V. Boroda, the sailor of the "Sentry" A. Shein, convicted of mutiny for 8 years in prison, brothers V. Sablin - B. and N. Sablins, uncle V. Sablina - a retired officer L.L. Sablin. Part 1 City of Leningrad.
