Abstract
A film about the world's northernmost administrative center, the Dixon Peninsula. Dickson Peninsula. View of a silent snowy desert. Cars and an all-terrain vehicle are driving along the ice road connecting the mainland village of Dikson and Dikson Island. Types of monuments: the Norwegian sailor, a member of the expedition on the ship "Mod" Peter Tessem, the Russian explorer N. A. Begichev, the dead sailors. Village life: views of streets, old and new houses; construction site; street cleaning; children playing in kindergarten, drawing. Loading and unloading cargo at the seaport. Weather station on Dickson Island: launching a probe, working with instruments in an open area. Airport on the island: refueling the helicopter, boarding passengers on the plane, taking off the plane.
