- Abstract
- Leningrad Front, May. Explosions of shells on the battlefield. The soldiers walk past the barbed wire. A group of fighters at an anti-tank gun. Political instructor Oppenheim talks to the soldiers. An observer soldier is monitoring the front edge of the German defense. Fighters in between battles write letters, read newspapers. One of the soldiers fires a light machine gun.
