The coffin with the body of Academician A. A. Baykov, installed in the conference hall of the USSR Academy of Sciences. The honor guard are academicians: S. I. Vavilov, I. P. Bardin, N. G. Bruevich, I. I. Meshchaninov, A. N. Nesmeyanov; Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the USSR A. Ya. Vyshinsky, writer A. Ye. Korneichuk. The funeral procession moves through Moscow to the Novodevichy cemetery; carry orders, wreaths. Academician I. P. Bardin speaks at a memorial meeting at the cemetery. Burial moment.
