Mitin, USSR Minister of Culture N.A.Mikhailov, Deputy Chairman of the USSR Council of Ministers D. F. Ustinov, aircraft designer A. N. Tupolev, marshals A. I. Eremenko, P. A. Rotmistrov, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party and Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the MPR Y. Tsedenbal and others. The relatives and friends of the deceased are at the coffin. People pass near the coffin. Funeral procession on Red Square. Funeral meeting; speakers I. I. Bobrovnikov, D. F. Ustinov, A. N. Nesmeyanov, secretary of the Moscow City Committee of the CPSU E. K. Ragozin. The urn with the ashes of IV Kurchatov is installed in the niche of the Kremlin wall. A memorial plaque covering a niche in the wall with the inscription: "IV Kurchatov, 1903-1960."
