- Abstract
- Arrival in Moscow to celebrate the 800th anniversary of its founding of foreign delegations, delegations of the union republics. Workers of the Hammer and Sickle plant, scientists of the USSR Academy of Sciences, students of the Frunze Military Academy sign a letter to JV Stalin. Exhibitions dedicated to the anniversary of the city of Moscow at the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts, at the Moscow Reconstruction Museum. Events dedicated to the celebration of the 800th anniversary of the city of Moscow; demonstration on the streets of the products of Moscow industrial enterprises, a combined relay race on the streets, on the Moskva River; sports festival at the Dynamo stadium; parade of athletes; a football match between the Moscow teams "Torpedo" and the Central House of the Red Army. Festivities, festive markets in the streets. Performances by amateur art groups in the Gorky Central Park of Culture and Leisure. Theatrical carnival procession on the streets of Moscow. Brass bands are playing. Celebratory fireworks.
