Abstract
Hungary, the city of Gyor, April, 1945 The city in the first days after the liberation by Soviet troops. On the streets, broken enemy equipment, killed German soldiers. Soviet artillery moves forward to Vienna past the monument to the Hungarian playwright Karoy Kishfaludi (mouth 1892, sculptor Matrai Lajos Gyorgy) on the Vienna Gate Square.
