Hydroelectric Power Station in the Mountains

Construction of the USSR's first high-altitude hydroelectric power station in the Alma-Ata region, in the Zailiyskiy Alatau mountains: dump trucks unload gravel onto the dam; the scooter levels the gravel; installation of a pipeline through which water from the artificial dam will be supplied for the operation of the HPP turbine; electricians assemble and install substation equipment; view of the machine room.
