The film tells about the Leningrad artist V. Malyshev, who is interested in the image of the American actress Marilyn Monroe: V. Malyshev in the costume of M. Monroe, walking through the city, paintings by V. Malyshev depicting M. Monroe, interview with V. Malyshev (sinhr.). The film uses footage from the chronicle depicting M. Monroe, a fragment of the film "The Seven Year Itch".
