III Congress of Artists of the USSR

Moscow. House of Unions. Opening in the Column Hall of the III Congress of USSR Artists. Among those present in the presidium, the leaders of the party and government: L.I.Brezhnev, A.N. Kosygin, G.I. Voronov, D.F. Ustinov, people's artists of the USSR: E.F.Belashova, N.V. Tomsky, M K. Anikushin. Among the speakers at the congress: E. F. Belashova, A. Plastov, M. K. Anikushin, foreign guests representing the art of foreign countries: Vido Geza (Romania), Istvan Marche (Hungary), Wlodzimierz Buchek (Poland) and others. Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the USSR Supreme Soviet M. Yasnov attaches the Order of Lenin to the banner of the Union of Artists of the USSR.
