Aswan hydraulic engineering complex. Engine room. High voltage towers. Solemn meeting of the Chairman of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR NV Podgorny. On May 25, 1971, N.V. Podgorny, accompanied by members of the Soviet delegation and in the presence of the President of the UAR Anvar Sadat, receives a parade, drives through the city in a car, lays a wreath at the mausoleum of G.A. Nasser, talks in the Kubba palace with A. Sadat, conducts negotiations, takes part in a banquet. Taking part in the negotiations: B. N. Ponomarev, A. A. Gromyko, I. G. Pavlovsky, Mahmud Fawzi, Mohamed Ahmed Sadek. N.V. Podgorny and Anvar Sadat sign the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation on May 27, 1971. Moscow city. June 28, 1971.
