Abstract
The film chronicle is dedicated to the International Symposium of Unions and Societies of the Deaf, which took place in Moscow on October 15-19, 1968. Representatives of unions and societies of socialist countries took part. Symposium participants at the table in the meeting room. Among those present: the delegations of the GDR, Mongolia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Yugoslavia, Romania, the USSR, etc. The Symposium was greeted by: the chairman of the All-Russian Society of the Deaf, N.P. Sutyagin, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Moscow City Council E.Ya. Prosvetova, Deputy Minister of Social Security of the RSFSR V.P. Barykin. Deputy Minister of Social Security of the RSFSR NN Lyashko makes a report "Social security in the USSR". A sign language interpreter translates speeches into sign language. Participants of the symposium in the lobby for a conversation.
