Abstract
A film reminiscent of the childhood of an Estonian journalist who came to the K.R. Jakobson (Pärnu district, Kurgja farm) to participate in summer agricultural work. The farm-museum of K.R. Yakobson is an example of farming. Apiary, herd of cows, sheep in the barn, horses. The guide tells tourists about life on the farm. Local peasants and an out-of-town journalist [Ante Olear] work on the hayfield and on the farm. Behind the scenes, there is a story about the journalist's peasant ancestors and about the land reform of 1940, as a result of which the land was nationalized and the farmsteads disappeared.
