The film tells about the Doctor of Biological Sciences, Academician of the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, General Director of the Medical Leech Center Nikonov Gennady Ivanovich. The film uses the following filming: fragments of the film "Taste the Blood of Dracula" ("Taste of Dracula's Blood", Great Britain, 1970), G.I. rides in a car, drives up to the Medical Leech Center, general view of the building of the Center; GI Nikonov in one of the laboratories where leeches are grown, leeches float in glass containers; type of baby leeches, a laboratory employee feeds leeches with blood; a woman puts a leech behind her ear; GI Nikonov puts leeches on the patient's back; the nurse takes the leeches from the jar and puts the patient on her stomach; a patient at a gynecologist's appointment, the doctor examines the patient, tells (sync.) that the leech promotes the release of endorphins into the bloodstream; GI Nikonov in his office at the Center for Medical Leech, in one of the laboratories of the Center; general view of cosmetic products manufactured at the Center; an employee of one of the laboratories of the Center is engaged in the isolation of the secretion of the salivary glands of a medical leech; a view of the Sheremetyevo airport, an airplane arriving from France, taxiing on the runway of the airfield, GI Nikonov meets a colleague from France - Brizhzhit; General view of the site in front of the house of G.I.
