Leningrad Newsreel Number 9

The city of Leningrad on the day of elections to the Supreme Soviet of the USSR. The buildings are decorated with flags, portraits of V. I. Lenin, I. V. Stalin, K. Marx, F. Engels. Voters walk the streets to polling stations. Voters receive ballots and put them in the ballot boxes. The electoral commission calculates the results of the elections. Presentation in the Leningrad regional and city committees of the Komsomol of Komsomol vouchers leaving for the development of virgin and fallow lands of Kazakhstan, Altai, Siberia. Seeing off those leaving for the virgin lands on the platform of the station. The train departs from the platform. The final concert of the show of rural amateur performances of the Leningrad region, held at the State Academic Maly Opera House in Leningrad. The united choir, dance groups of the Tosno and Krasnoselsky districts are performing.
