The ceremonial meeting in the Kremlin Palace of Congresses, dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of K. Marx. On the presidium, the party leaders: M.A.Suslov, A.N. Kosygin, V.V. Grishin, L.I.Brezhnev, N.V. Podgorny, G.I.Voronov, great-grandchildren of K. Marx: agronomist Paul Longuet, artist F. Longuet, lawyer L. Longuet. V. Grishin opens the meeting. Speech by M. A. Suslov with a report (synchronously). Opening of the joint scientific session at the Institute of Marxism-Leninism under the CPSU Central Committee dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of K. Marx. Speech by Academician P. N. Fedoseev. Among those present: great-grandchildren of K. Marx. Participants in the scientific session lay a wreath at the Karl Marx monument on Sverdlov Square. Visitors to the Museum of K.
