Meeting of Veterans of the Panfilov Division

Meeting of veterans of the Guards Rifle Division named after Hero of the Soviet Union Major General IV Panfilov in the city of Alma-Ata, Kazakh SSR. Among the veterans there are former Panfilovites: P.V. Logvinenko, S.V. Kukhtenkov, V.O. Osipov, A. Yu. Krivitsky, I.D.Shadrin, I.V. Panfilova, a former nurse, daughter of I.V. Panfilov. Veterans lay flowers at the monument to the Panfilov heroes. A memorial plaque on the school building with the inscription: "In July-August 1941, the headquarters and political department (316) of the 8th Guards Rifle Division named after Hero of the Soviet Union, Major General IV Panfilov were located here." Panfilov's members in the school's museum are talking with students, looking at photographs of the war years.
