Abstract
A biographical film about the poet M.V. Isakovsky, which includes photographs and filming taken during his lifetime, and filming in the village of Glotovka, Smolensk region, where the poet was born. Behind the scenes, songs written to poems by MV Isakovsky, "Katyusha", "Farewell" and others, which are illustrated by newsreels of peasant labor and everyday life in 1920-30, newsreels of the Civil and Great Patriotic War, are played.
