Muscovites on the Whole

A street in the Leningradsky state farm in the Kustanai region (Kazakhstan). On the street there are one-story houses, the only two-story house, dugouts. Dusya Kuvizenkova, who has returned from Moscow, from vacation, drives up to the house in a car. D. Kuvizenkova hands over a folder with the materials of a meeting of Komsomol members and youth in Moscow to two girls who live with her in the same room. The Gorevsky family: husband, wife, two children in another room at home. In the third room, two girls are sewing clothes on a sewing machine. All residents of the apartment are former Muscovites who came to work on virgin lands. The field-crop brigade prepares the equipment for departure to the field camp. State farm chief engineer BS Dudko and foreman S. F. Zedenko check the readiness of the tractors. Tractors with trailed agricultural machines and a trailer house are driving across the field.
